Hot Cookin’ on a Live Grill
Ingredients:

(2) 8 ounces Yellowfin Tuna steaks, 1” think

Marinade:

½ TSP Ground Ginger
½ Cup Soy Sauce
1 Garlic Clove minced
2 TBS Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Fresh Ground Pepper as desired
Mix all marinade ingredients together. Pour into a shallow 12” round glass dish or something that will keep the marinade up on the fish.  Coat both sides on the fish with marinade. Cover, place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, flip and marinate for 30 more minutes.

Light the grill while the tuna is marinating. For charcoal allow about 30-40 minutes for white hot coals. A gas grill should be pre-heated to medium hot.  

For rare grill about 2 ½ minutes per side. Medium rare about 3 to 3 ½ per side.
